Ayurveda is a personalised approach to the art of living in harmony with the laws of nature and is the sister science to Yoga. Both are healing disciplines developed over 5,000 years ago in India and have always been used together.

This retreat has been carefully designed to leave you feeling the combined benefits of Ayurveda and Yoga – revitalised, refreshed and ready for the advent of the late spring and early summer months. The day will include:

  • A basic introduction to Ayurveda
  • An explanation of simple Ayurvedic seasonal self-care rituals that can be practised at home
  • A dynamic and a restorative Yoga practice aligned to Ayurvedic principles to rejuvenate and revitalise you, ready for the advent of spring and beyond
  • An Ayurvedic meal which will not only taste delicious but will help to bring you into balance with the seasons
  • A bag of self-care treats to use at home

About us

Colette trained to teach Yoga with Simon Low and the faculty of the Yoga Academy. She continues to deepen her knowledge of Ayurveda with well-respected teachers such as Tarik Dervish and will train to be an Ayurvedic Practitioner this autumn. Her approach to Yoga is to use the practice as an anchor of awareness in an ever more fragmented world, to help students stay connected to their true selves, through their bodies, minds and spirits. Her work as a Yoga retreat chef has led her to explore the benefits of diet, movement and breath as holistic tools to help us skilfully navigate life’s changes.

Ellie trained to teach Yoga with Tarik Dervish, an Ayurvedic Practitioner and Yoga Teacher aligned with the British Wheel of Yoga. Ellie continues to train with Tarik, gaining a deeper understanding of how Ayurveda and Yoga together offer relevant and practical tools to live life with a little more ease, wellbeing and joy.

To ensure a welcoming and nourishing day for all numbers are limited. To book follow this link to the event on EventBrite.
