On Sunday 12th July we warmly invite you to join Shinrin of Sound and me for a very special Summer Edition of Qigong & Gong by the River at the beautiful Loudwater Farm in Rickmansworth - a place filled with peaceful, grounding energy and surrounded by the healing beauty of nature.

This gathering is especially meaningful as we celebrate 5 wonderful years of our collaboration, bringing together the gentle wisdom of Qigong and the deeply restorative vibrations of Gongs. Over the years, this offering has grown into a nourishing space for community, connection, movement, stillness, and healing, and this year we are expanding the experience even further.

As part of this anniversary celebration, we will also be sharing a gentle meditation and tea ceremony, creating an even deeper opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and fully arrive in the present moment.

If the weather allows, we will begin outdoors in the garden beside the River Chess, immersed in the warmth of summer, birdsong, fresh air, and the calming sounds of flowing water. Practising Qigong in nature allows us to connect more deeply with the season’s energy of openness, joy, vitality, and flow. Through mindful movement, breath, and grounding practices, we will gently awaken and balance the body’s energy while calming the nervous system and settling the mind.

Following the Qigong practice, we will move into meditation and a peaceful tea ceremony, offering time for reflection, stillness, and connection before settling into the Gong Bath experience.

The evening will then deepen into a powerful and restorative Gong Bath with 6 resonant gongs, whose layered vibrations create a rich soundscape that helps release tension, quiet the mind, and bring the body into a state of deep rest and balance.

On the day

We’ll be welcoming you to the farmhouse from 3:00 PM, with a prompt start at 3:10 PM. The event will run for approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes, finishing around 6:30 pm

Please bring your own yoga mats, blankets, pillow, or anything else that will help you to get comfortable and stay cozy - the more comfortable you are the better the experience! There will be limited blankets available.

Refunds and ticket policy

Please note that tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend the session, the ticket cannot be exchanged or transferred to another date. However, you are welcome to pass your ticket to a friend, family member, or colleague. If you do so, please contact us in advance with their details so we can make the necessary adjustments.
