This is the next special event in a series I am running in collaboration with Shinrin of Sound.

Escape the hustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature in a beautiful riverside setting, surrounded by trees and the gentle sounds of flowing water and birdsong.

2026 is the Year of the Fire Horse, which only occurs every 60 years and is associated with revealing our inner truths and fulfilling ambitions through action. I will lead you through a qigong practice which is designed to bring you into harmony to make the most of the energy this year represents. This gentle, flowing movement practice is suitable for all levels and requires no yoga mat — just your presence. If the weather is fine, we will practise outside, otherwise we will make use of Loudwater Farm’s lovely hall.

After qigong, there will be tea, snacks, and a chance to chat and relax.

We will close our afternoon with a Gong Bath — a deeply calming sound journey featuring gongs, singing bowls, and other instruments. Lie back and let the vibrations wash over you.

Come as you are. No experience needed — just a willingness to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the natural world.

On the day

We’ll be welcoming you to the farmhouse from 3:00 PM, with a prompt start at 3:10 PM. The event will run for approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes, finishing around 5:20 pm

Please bring your own yoga mats, blankets, pillow, or anything else that will help you to get comfortable and stay cozy - the more comfortable you are the better the experience! There will be limited blankets available.
