Yoga brings many benefits for teenagers. It is suitable for all levels of fitness, all shapes and sizes, and all levels of flexibility. You DO NOT have to be super-bendy to enjoy yoga. Yoga is for everyone, and has many many benefits including:
- building strength, tone and flexibility
- helping you to feel calmer, more relaxed and clear-minded
- the enjoyment of physical activity in a non-competitive environment
TeenYoga @ Total Physiotherapy
On Wednesday evenings I run a yoga class for teenagers at Total Physiotherapy (full details on my timetable page). This yoga class is for teenage boys and girls, and parents are welcome to join in as well. I run these classes on a half-termly basis, with the price for the series working out as £7.50 per session.
